3/1/2019 Just been again. Not the usual guy trying. Disgusting selling old stock that had been lying over the new year holiday . I was told to come back while the fish fried. Expecting fresh crispy batter succulent fish as usual. Absolutely no way was that a fresh fry, the batter was soggy and the fish was grey. It was a lukewarm sludge. Horrified that they would do that to customers. I threw it straight in the bin. So, my earlier reviews might not be totally accurate. Definitely Get rid of the fryer on tonight..EARLIER. Best chip shop for miles. I travel from Stirling to get a fish supper here. 1 year later. Now a regular Consistently excellent Its down to the fryer who doesn't fry off 42 fish and then sits on his backside for the rest of the night No constant FRESH fry and its excellent Lovely staff too who will customise you order. Give it a try.
